Dipendra currently serves as Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the School of Global Studies (SGS) at Thammasat University, Thailand. At SGS, he spearheads the launch of a new MA program in Social Innovation and Sustainability, and teaches courses on organization design, and technology for developing countries. In 2018, Dipendra was awarded as the Young Researcher of the Year by Thammasat University for his contribution to advancing the understanding of NGO placement behaviors.
Prior to joining academia, Dipendra co-founded a youth-led NGO in Nepal and worked in the management committee of a social enterprise in Bangkok.
He is a PhD Candidate in Development Administration at the National Institute of Development Administration, Thailand. He has a Master in Rural Development Management from Khon Kaen University, Thailand and BA in Sociology and Rural Development from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
