Busan is an Oxford-Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholar 2018-19 at Blavatnik School, Oxford University. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, where he also served as elected Student Councilor. He co-founded and administered Daayitwa Fellowships, the first public service fellowship program in Nepal.
He was also one of the founding faculty members of Nepal’s first two Master’s programs in International Relations. Prior to joining the Blavatnik School, he worked as the Governance and Partnerships Director with Possible, a healthcare organization serving rural Nepal. He co-led the health-institution reconstruction program and the first ever government and non-government partnerships in healthcare management, in an integrated staffing scheme, in Nepal. He is keen to find policy solutions to build better healthcare and education systems.
